save the dates

I created our save the date postcards almost completely from scratch.  I used a photo I had taken of us last year (using my camera's self timer) and edited it and added the wording using Picnik.com and Photoshop.  I used Walmart.com to create a 4.25x6 in. photo postcard.  I love how they turned out and that they are completely original.

wedding invitations

I purchased our invitations from 123print.com.  I love this website because you can select your design, input your information and rearrange the wording, choose matching response cards and addressed envelopes, and everything comes printed and shipped to you at an amazing low price!  I was also pleased that I was able to order a free sample of my invitation, including all pieces, before deciding if I wanted to purchase it or not.  I love this simple design and I self-addressed my envelopes with an Elegant Writer calligraphy pen.

stamps

I ended up buying these Wedding Rings stamps from USPS.  I did not want to purchase stamps that were priced above face value.  120 of these cost me $52.80 alone... yikes!

monogram stickers

I found these "Y" monogram stickers by Bellisimo at Dollar Tree for $0.25 a sheet and figured I'd find a use for them somewhere.  They made great additions to our invitations; I placed one medium "Y" in the top-left corner on the front of each envelope to add symmetry with the postage stamp since our return address was on the back flap of the envelope.  I  still have a ton left over, so I may also use these for our thank you cards and table number signs!
